It all started 15 years ago when I was in London. After attending trade fairs, a short holiday and all that, two weeks had gone by. Then I had an important function to attend but my grey hair was showing, and I had a lot of grey hair. To cover up, I decided to tie my hair, took a shawl and tied it
into a turban. It was sensational! Photographers were taking photographs, and they said “Wow, it was a new style, Jean!” They liked it, and it came out in the magazine.
I was really delighted because with such a simple action I could cover my grey hair. It was a solution to a problem that I had. That was how my journey started 15 years ago, and it has become my signature look to this day. So I went scouring the world, went to different factories looking for the ones that produce good materials. It becomes meaningful when I am able to transform women, especially ordinary women to look extraordinary in minutes
